Cannabigerol or CBG is a non-psychoactive compound very similar to Cannabidiol (CBD), both are part of the same group of cannabinoids and have anti-inflammatory, regenerative, antitumor, anti-microbial qualities, according to a study carried out in 2018 by Navarro G, Varani K and Reyes-Resina I, where it is suggested that it has properties that help delay cognitive and brain deterioration. Another 2020 study from McMaster University suggests that CBG increases the rate of tissue recovery in the colon and reduces inflammation.
