Índica variety

What do we know by Indica marijuana?

Indica varieties originated in colder, mountainous climates (pienae in Afghanistan and northern India). Indica plants tend to be short, squat, and bushy. The indica leaves are plump and the foliage is dense. These are plants adapted to harsh environments such as those found in the Hindu Kush mountain range. Indica plants are excellent producers of hashish too, and that's no accident. They were certainly raised that way, as hashish is the preferred method of cannabis use in much of the area they come from.

Indica plants waste no time during flowering; They do it for six to eight weeks. This is almost certainly due to their mountain-born genetic programming; they want to produce the genetics of the next generation before the frost hits. Indoor growers love how quickly indica flowers bloom and flatten.

Indicas are known for their physical sedative effect. Some smokers use the mnemonic, "in da couch," in reference to the well-known body effect of strong indica strains that make a person want to sink into their couch. Indicas are great for relaxing with a movie or music in the evening as a way to unwind after a long day at work or as a relaxing interlude before bed.

From a medical point of view, the heavy resin and soporific potency of indica flowers make them appreciated by people with insomnia, anxiety, nausea and pain.

Common recreational effects of indica strains include happy drowsiness, relaxation, and intense hunger. Pure or near-pure indica strains include Northern Lights, Hindu Kush, Critical Mass, Purple Kush, L.A. Confidential and God’s Gift.
